Stuggerz
Good afternoon all, I need some advice. I have located a leak from the slave cylinder. Can this be sorted with a new seal... or is it a full replacement? My knowledge of this stuff is very low... Any help would be amazing. Many thanks Stu
AliveBoy
It depends if it's the seal that's leaking To be completely honest; the slaves are so common in breaking I'd just replace it as it will probably fail in another more serious area anyway.
Stuggerz
Is it pricey to replace?
AliveBoy
I think Cougarstore sell them as do Torqen. It's a pretty simple swap over, I'd say get a braided line in at the same time. I'm in Wokingham if you want to bring it over for a hand
Stuggerz
I will take a look I may take you up on that lol Can you buy the seal separately? ( I will probably replace the whole thing ) Edited July 15, 2016 by Stuggerz
AliveBoy
Not sure if this price is current or not: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99422-torqen-350z-03-04-stoptech-premium-clutch-slave-cylinder/page__st__20 No idea on the seal either

Grundy
If yours is a DE. about £30-£50 for the part, then about 30minutes under the car to switch it over. Then a while to bleed the clutch fluid.
GreenLandy
What age is yours Stu? I have an 03-04 cylinder and a braided line for sale which are basically brand new, although I have no idea if it fits later DEs.
