FiddyZed
My DE needs a clutch and flywheel change, [the clutch pedal started sticking to the floor after a long drive on Saturday] so over the last few days I've been ringing around to find out what the average price was before booking it in.... Spoke to a few specialists and thought, let me just see what Nissan would charge. I've Just come off the phone after speaking to a girl in the service department at a local Nissan dealership and I still can't stop laughing  . I asked her how much it would be for a clutch and flywheel including vat and labour and she put me on hold for a while (maybe whilst she made up the numbers) and came back with.... £2979.30p. I just feel sorry for the poor sod that doesn't know about the specialists and this forum and actually stomaches up £3k for a clutch and flywheel change. AliveBoy
If it's just the pedal on the floor you only need to change the slave cylinder, it's a very simple job

Over here in Luxembourg I did exactly the same thing and asked the same question to the Nissan dealer... their price was what you just quoted... not including labour costs! Instead I had to drive the near 600 miles (including ferry crossing) to Sly's place... well worth it!
