RagingKileak Posted January 30, 2008 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Hi all, Very strongly doubt I am the first person to think putting a TV/Media Centre in the centre console is a great idea, but found little in the previous topics! Anyway, much apreciated to the poster who found the P/N for the Sat Nav dash!! Ok so some Q's before I buy... Sat Nav dash - how big a screen is in there? (its an 03 dash I want) Does the BOSE stereo take any kind of aux in for sound? Anyone done this and have pics or a guide? A chap at work has a very well wired up system in his car and says he will certainly assist, hes asked me to check out the above. Believes he will be able to do the setup no probs!! I cant wait!!! Pingu2 Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 a 7 inch screen fits in the satnav area well the bose doesn't have an aux input - it's possible to modifiy it so that the tape input is used as an aux one but this involves cutting some traces and soldering a few wires onto the circuit board. my350z.com has a guide on this. or just replace the bose head unit (you will need a PAC adapater if replacing head unit and keeping the bose amp) a few people have installed screens (for car PCs) in the space - search under my name or under Zedrush in the ICE section.
