Kev T
I find the mitt from the clay cloth Company does the job as well as the putty version and easier.
cearnshaw85
I use the eagle 1 clay mitt - only in america but wow what a product this is!!!! If you know anyone going to america get one picked up!
Paul K
I tried the farecla clay mitt. Got it from Halfords. Tried it out on my sons fiesta first. It works a treat!!! His paint feels like glass now and for a fraction of the time and effort a clay bar would have taken Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited September 14, 2016 by Paul K
Jay Kay
Don't believe the BS about one clay being better than others. All clay comes from the same factory, snotty companies then mark it up more than others but essentially its no better than cheap ebay stuff

Although I will admit MANY of them do seem that way Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Richf
I have to say after a couple of years using a clay cloth I've gone back to using soft Bilt Hamber clay , it just prefer the feel and to see the results on the clay , I always use lube , never go in dry ! Jay Kay
I really don't think I'm wrong. I've read a lot about clay and at the meguiars day I asked and their rep confirmed that their clay comes from exactly the same place as their competitors

There's a multitude of differences from one clay to the next within a single brand (by design, not just inconsistent manufacture) let alone from one brand to another. As with many detailing products, there are some that are made in the same factory as others and just branded differently but they tend to vary in quality as much as price too. It's not just a case of buy the cheapest and get the best at all. The cheapest eBay tat is sometimes barely even clay at all...
Ricey
Especially the 5 quid 'genuine' 3m stuff. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
