Ben82uk
Hi, I'm after some High flow cats but unsure which ones to get? Was looking at the berk ones but heard that some have failed? Are the Cobra ones any good? Cheers Ben

GMballistic
Ben imo the Berks HFC's are good quality. Had them on my Zed without issue. The only Berks HFC's that I have heard of failing are ones that were used with forced induction cars. Eg: supercharged or turbo charged applications. Mitz will sort you out though I'm sure. davey_83
Chasing numbers, what's the difference between stock cats, HFC and baffled decats?........
KyleR
All HFC's have the potential to fail if they aren't hot enough or if the tester isn't very friendly. Any of the known brands will be fine.

I think by fail, its meant become defective.
Richf
We have seen Berks cats and test pipes crack around the welds

I think by fail, its meant become defective. Possibly, but I've heard int he past year or 18 months of quite a few Berks beginning to fail MOT emissions testing. No idea if they changed something, or if it was just a cluster of unfortunate tests.

Most HFC struggle to meet emissions unless properly warmed up
DarmoZ
Just run a can of Cata-clean before MOT, passes emissions every single time.
