Karl92
Anyone have any idea why my plenum looks damp/wet ? has anyone else had this before thanks Karl
GMballistic
Has it been raining? Have you just washed the car? If you run your finger or a rag over the "damp" area is it watery, oily or does it have any noticeable smell?
Karl92
nope bone dry and doesn't smell. texture wise it doesn't feel wet either. I thought it may be where the plenum spacer wasn't bolted down correctly but all the nuts and nice and tight so not that id guess maybe its the plenum gaskett or something i might try and replace that first karl
evilscorp
Moisture from warm engine and air gap between bonnet, probably a bit colder last night and the texture of the plenum caused water droplets to form, nothing to worry about, if it was only around the bolt holes or the very edge would I think more on the subject.
Ekona
TADTS Incredibly unlikely to be anything to worry about, if the car us running fine otherwise and you're not losing fluids.
