GreenLandy Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Well they all need a bit of modification in the form of a new fascia, various wiring bits from incartec.co.uk and a little bit of soldering Quote

kayjay0_7 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 You'll need to get a fascia adapter, wiring harness and steering wheel harness , got most of my bits from car audio direct Quote
GMballistic Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Moved your thread Matti to the correct section. If you have a look around this section everything you need to know is in here. For example: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/15611-what-you-need-to-upgrade-your-350z-audio-system/ My old Pioneer double din in my old Zed. 1 Quote
Miller350z Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 If you get one with a motorised screen it'll catch on the top. Mine did and I had to cut/file about 3mm from the top of the facia. I contacted in car tech where I bought it from. They got the same facia and stereo out the back and checked, confirmed what I was saying and updated their website to reflect this Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk 1 Quote
GreenLandy Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I have a pioneer f960dab and it is almost all screen, unlike the pioneer above with large areas for buttons. It also fits nice and flush with the dash (maybe a little recessed) and doesn't stick out like that kenwood seems to. There's also every input I think you could want. 1 Quote
RavenDW Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Fit an android double din unit. Cost around £200 from eBay. It's not branded but it suits my needs really well for the cost. (image linking isn't working for me at work but this is the same as what I have) http://www.ebay.co.u...IkAAOSwwpdW-h1U You'll need a fascia adapter (that you may need to file down so the unit will fit) to suit your year of Zed, a wiring loom adapter and a steering control adpater. In Car Tec is your friend. https://incartec.co....io/Browser.aspx If you know what you're doing (or can follow one of the guides) you can trim out a lot of the cabling I believe. I haven't done this (didn't want to f**k up) but I may do so in the future. 1 Quote

I'm tempted to get something similar, but a friend recently got an ebay one and it was so slow! If you're having no issues than I just know to avoid the crazily cheap ones on there. Quote
