Zeezeebaba
I've got an MOT in October, last year the emissions were excellent having just fitted new HFCs. Since then the car has been uprev mapped and it was found to be running to lean. My concern is the emissions will be affected this year due to a richer mix. Ekona
Salt? Heathen! It's a dash of oregano or nothing, everyone knows that.
zippypooz
Does the re-map remove the cruise control functionality? Thought I'd read that on here once. An extra 15 HP for £400.... (Goes away does some maths).... Carry on like that and you can double the HP for ~£8k Haha...When i had mine uprevved i made 21bhp, although considering the age of the car im sure it was more like 30-35bhp...although it isnt really about that, its the torque curve thats improved greatly and the overall drivability plus the de-restriction on gears 1-3. I did notice a lot more pull mid range.I do agree though its a lot of cash once youve done all the mods...but for me it was worth it. docwra
I read somewhere from a chap who TT'd and forged a Z for £25k who wrote if you simply remap and push more power you would eventually fry the rods in the DE. If strapping a supercharger on and hitting 400hp doesnt "fry" then then +25hp from a remap certainly wont
