fm aerial to rear washer jet hole ???

had a crazy idea today when looking at my car

 

when i wrapped my car i removed the fm antenna and wrapped over the hole and just detached the aerial all together

 

i also did a wiper delete =, im kinda missing the radio even though ive just done a tablet install

 

and then i thought could i rig it up and run it up out the top of the hatch?

 

 

what you guys think?

No reason why not. Will you not see the impression of the old aerial hole behind the wrap, with continual rubbing whilst cleaning the panel?

I would use a 'shark fin' antenna rather then a stubby

I used an internal FM aerial when I deleted mine and put it under the rear brace plastic worked as well as the stubby

Don't suppose you have a link to the aerial you used?

I've got my dab up front on the windscreen but obviously don't get all the channels with a dab.

I'm gonna have a good play around with this at the weekend didn't think about a shark fin that could look smart.

 

As for the wrap yea you can just about see where the hole used to be but as the wrap straightens itself and pulls tight in heat it sorta just covers it up. I know it's just a quick fix I did at the time first time I out the aerial back in but had to redo it as I ripped it when doing something else so just thought I'd try with out it.

 

Thought about an internal didn't think it would get much reception tbh
