Hudders
Been looking at a set of 19" alloys. They are 8.5" rims with an offset of 20. Would I still need spacers to fill the arches out? I'm running at standard height. Also, what size tyres are best for comfort? Had 19's on my Skyline and the ride was harsh to say the least. BobbyZ
For that width you're still looking at 10-15mm spacers to get flush with the arch. As far as tyre sizes you really want to match the OEM outside diameter as much as possible, but the ride shouldn't be unnecessarily harsh unless you have very heavy wheels, especially on stock suspension. Jay Kay
245/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear is what I run. think its a pretty standard size for 19s as it doesn't give the TC any agro.
Panman
You'll need spacers. I run a 11.5" width et12 and at stock height looked ok.
KyleR
I personally think those wheels are too narrow. I wouldn't be going less than 9.5" on a 19.
BobbyZ
Yeah I agree - it makes much more sense to go wider, especially if you don't want to fit spacers. 9.5" / 10.5" F/R is fairly common with around ET20-25 (and what I run).
