Miller350z
Just fitting my pioneer head unit which so far has taken me ages but is going fine. I've got a reversing camera that fits into the numberplate light. I haven't really got a clue how to wire it or where to run the cables. Anyone know of a guide to help? Also could do with a guild on how to take the interior plastic near the handbrake out so I can put my USB leads to the cubby the original Bluetooth is in. I've had a look but can't find either. Any help would be good. Thanks Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
veeg33
Check out my build thread mate (link in my signature, post #128, page 7 http://www.350z-uk.c...s/page__st__120 ) for reversing camera, but i did not wire it up to my head unit as I'm still using Bose but at least it gets you half way. Few member here did the full thing but I can't remember who. As you have probably figure out yourself, you can run the AV feed through the middle to your head unit, you might need to remove the glove box etc for a proper job? Or maybe there is a tunnel there to the rear boot once the handbrake surround is removed ?? . Sorry can't help much....... Edit: Found these --> http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/78880-how-to-remove-centre-armrest-lid/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/44803-removing-centre-tunnel/ No pic but reading them gives you an idea. GappySmeg
When i wired my reversing camera i found it easier to route the cables along the passenger side sill... there is trunking already in place that you can use to keep the cable secure. If you google "nicoclub 350z" you will find pdfs covering everything you need to know about removing the interior trim.

GappySmeg
I would strongly advise getting a decent set of trim removal tools before you start, otherwise you're going to break some plastics. I bought these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silverline-Car-Door-Upholstery-Trim-Clip-Removal-Pliers-Tool-combo-Dash-panel-/300769370465?hash=item4607406161 and: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5pcs-Car-Door-Plastic-Trim-Panel-Dash-Installation-Removal-Pry-Tool-Kit-repair-/161335156022?hash=item2590531d36 Edited May 17, 2016 by GappySmeg
