Miller350z
I've had my car parked in the garage for a week now since I had the nismo kit fitted and sprayed, as well as rear bumper, boot and bonnet. I want the paint to look as good as it possibly can as will never be as mark free. The car has also had a full machine Polish. I was going to wash it, give it 2 lots of auto glym super resin polish. 2 lots Poorboys diamond white glaze. 2 lots of auto glym extra gloss protect. 2 lots of g3 super gloss paste wax. Does this sound about right? I also have a new bottle of auto glym hd cleanser. It it worth using this before the srp? Am I doing things in the right order? SHEZZA
I wouldn't be doing anything with the paint just yet other than a carefull wash maybe, until the paint has fully cured for at least a month before you start polishing and sealing.
Ricey
Depending on whom in the body shop machine polished it I wouldn't be banking on it not being buffer trailed and hologrammed to death. Usual bodyshop technique is bladder liberally with G3 and Finesseit Also I'd be letting the new paint gas off for about a week or 2. When your using the SRP I'd say the best thing to do would be shake it up vigorously. Take the lid off. Get a fresh microfiber. Open wheelie bin. Lob SRP in. Wipe brow with microfiber. Miller350z
Lol, I wondered where that was going. Not a fan of srp then. Funny how some people hate it and others think it's awesome Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

It's just not a lot of use for at thing really. It doesn't correct the paint and the fillers are a bit moot when you're using decent glazes like Poorboys. Me and my old man used to use it when I was about 17 but that was back in the day when it was a bit more aggressive. Car always looked like it had been cleaned with chain mail after we'd finished and the sun hit it! DaddyCee
would you recommend application to be done with a DA or Rotary rather than by hand?
Ekona
You'll get a significantly better result, yes. By which I mean you'd be there forever trying to get a result using the Scholl stuff by hand.
ilogikal1
To clarify - compound by machine, LSP by hand. To clarify the clarification, polish and correct the paint using a machine. Wax/sealant/coating without.
