nixy
Called in at my son's house on Sunday night and as I parked the car up I noticed the guy across the road working on something in his garage, it was getting dark and he had a big light rigged up.............did a double take then said to my other half "is that a DeLorean????" That was it, I was out of the car and in his garage before you could say flux capacitor! He got it from Canada and it only has about 3500 on the clock. Not everyone's cup of tea but has always for me been one of those cars I would have in my collection when I win euro millions. I asked him if I could pop over every now and then as the project unfolds so hopefully will get some pictures! It made my day!

nixy
It's not often I just invade a random stranger's garage but I couldn't help myself! I find these sorts of things much more interesting than going and looking at some big shot's super car. Give me an escort mexico or something restored anytime!
DoogyRev
Great Scott!!! thats a nice find There is a company in the US who are going to start making them again . . saw it on the news not that long ago. Upgraded engine, suspension etc . . so a new one might not be as crap as an original from a handling point of view
rabbitstew
I remember seeing one in the showroom of a garage near me a good few years back for £12k. I considered it briefly, but decided against it in the end as I wanted something quicker. Still dont see many of them about at all. Saying that, I saw a convoy of about 4 on the road last year, presumably heading off to a show. That caused me to do a few double takes! "Look, theres a delorean!, omg theres another one, and another one, and another one.... must be as common as muck!"
veilside z
They are lovely cars and i'm sure the price will rocket one day as can see them becoming very desirable and collective. You could have picked one up for 12k ... Wow I would have bit their hand off.

I've just had to check your location for two reasons 1) To see if there is a time travelling car hidden away in a garage somewhere nearby that I might spot on the road one day 2) To find out whether there is some garage invading car stalking madman living anywhere nearby I see you are in Yorkshire so 1) 2)

ZEUS
I really like them, I know they are very dated now but I still think they are very stylish. I nearly bought one years ago when they where still cheap, I'll put that in the same regret folder as the Nsx and Honda Nr I also nearly bought! Jetpilot
Caught the end of a wheeler dealers last night, bizarrely a delorean episode, they made £6k on the car and sold for £20500, not sure how old the programme was.

I've seen that episode before, it's a few years old I think. The guy that does the stainless refinishing is a talented bloke, he goes all over the world doing Deloreans.
