MrChow
OK so I go out to my car this afternoon to check it all over, and apart from having a totally flat battery (which was replaced 2 months ago) I noticed that the Air Con belt has snapped. Will running my car be ok without it for now, and is it wise to replace the other belts at the same time?? I seem to remember someone saying about bypassing an idler pulley, cam someone kindly explain this too? Thanks folks
Rook
Mine hasn't had an air con belt for ages, Nissan told me it was fine. I don't know why you'd have to replace both belts at once, but you might as well, since they're cheap and once you have access to one you have access to both. Stutopia
Assuming they were all replaced at the same time previously, which is fairly normal procedure, I s it not reasonable to assume the other would be in a similar state of wear? I'd change them as job lot. Soon.

-Bradders-
Most of them have gates belts in stock. If not eBay £25 delivered for gates.
