Mattyy
Hi guys, In need of some real help. I got through my new head unit today - Kenwood DPX306BT - nothing special, but it's better than the JDM unit i've got which only plays Radio 2 which isn't always my cup of tea. I've gone out after work and tried to fit it. I've got the old one out. Tried to put the new one in, and I've screwed up massively somewhere - spending about 2 hours trying to figure it out with my old man. I originally had the 2003 Bose 6 CD Changer... I can get the new unit to power up, and even find the new stations - but I cannot get sound whatsoever. I assume it's relating to the AMP?! Can anyone see from my terrible pictures, what I might have done wrong? I purchased the following harness; InCar Tec 29-674 InCar Tec 29-005 -- Is this the AMP? http://i.imgur.com/7Kh2XMU.jpg If so, where should this connector go? http://i.imgur.com/7Kh2XMU.jpg Back of the new unit: http://i.imgur.com/7Kh2XMU.jpg Connections: http://i.imgur.com/7Kh2XMU.jpg .jpg'> .jpg Back of the old Bose; Someone, anyone, please help me - I'm starting to regret it haha

russyb
Take a look at my thread buddy it should help http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105790-pioneer-headunit-upgrade-strange-goings-on/ My guess is you need to wire "amp on" wire from smaller block into 12v on the big block as your amp is not switching on as I had exactly the same thing happen
Mattyy
Thanks for all the replies gents. I ended up speaking to the original seller, and with their assistance (and a very useful picture of the InCarTec cables) - I've got the unit working properly. Sounds perfect! * I also fixed the GPS too, so I can now use the OEM Sat Nav! Edited April 25, 2016 by Mattyy
