Richf
TTRS or BMW M4 would be on my list , although you have to add a chunk of change for the latter
The G Man
Not doubting the TTRS on performance, but you will look like a tw4t, everytime you are seen in it IMO. Horrible looking shrunk beetle, in a non Porsche way

I had money for a house extension sitting there and thought bugger it. I bought one that had been looked after buy nissan all the way through. Had it for 3 months and went to spa and nurburgring in it, the car was faultless. Sold it to a trader so i could start my extension. Only lost the money that i put into it to get it mapped which was £800, + insurance,+ an aftermarket warranty that i took out just incase. All in all it probably cost me £1500 to own it for the 3 months but boy did i have a massive grin on my face every time i opened my garage door ! as i said one I've finished my house ill get another, probably another year away. Mikevv
Ok Nic I have not driven any of these cars but here are some recommendations going off your criteria. I even put in a West Midlands area on the search to give you some idea of how close the vehicles maybe to you just in case any of them were of interest to you. All top end of your budget. 2012 BMW M3 ~ V8 4Ltr ~ RWD ~ 0-60 in 4.6secs est Link: http://www.autotrade...w,new&logcode=p 2010 Audi RS5 ~ V8 4.2Ltr~ 4WD ~ 0-60 in 4.6secs est Link: http://www.autotrade...fault&logcode=p 2014 Mercedes Benz A45 AMG ~ 2Ltr turbo ~ 4WD ~ 0-60 in 4.6secs est Link: http://www.autotrade...etrol&logcode=p 2012 Jaguar XKR ~ V8 Supercharged 5Ltr ~ RWD ~ 0-60 in 4.6secs est Link: http://www.autotrade...-fast&logcode=p 2012 Porsche Cayman S ~ 3.4 Ltr ~ RWD ~ 0-60 in 4.9secs est Link: http://www.autotrade...=1500&logcode=p If it was me though I'd be thinking that with that budget you are literally a smidge away from R35 GTR money so I'd be aiming at that as my goal. Everyone has stuff round their house they could sell to raise some extra capital if they need to. What better reason than a GTR. Between the Porker and Beemer for me, But they both fall a bit on the interior, but hey, cracking cars and low mileage on the BM. The A45 to me is a bit boy racer and lunch box-y. But some people like that! Personally I'd either save a bit longer and get a nicer car ( take that as you will ) Or get a 370 Nismo
Mikevv
the new ford mustang 30k or so-the ecoboost just drove past one earlier today and I gotta say I was impressed V8 or nothing. Ecoboost is a bit pants. Such a stunning and meaty car, can't have a little 4 cylinder noise coming out!
grahamc
my vote is for saving up for the GTR, but I may be a little biased
