Stuarthodge
Having trouble with my 2005 350z loud creaking noise when you turn the steering wheel or go over a bump.anyone have any idea what this could be.
ZonixX
Have you done any suspension job recently, like changing springs, poly bushes etc? If not, the first thing I would check are the compression/banana arm bushings.
RobPhoboS
Actually, just check your strut bar if it's the stock one first (quickest). My one needed adjusting, once you've loosened the lock nuts, adjust the central one but squat down a bit and watch which way the bar either lowers or raises. Usually needs lowering down a wee bit. Check the workshop manual if you're stuck (plenty of links on google).
RS8055
Could it also possibly be the end links having gone (depending on mileage)?
98duffa
Compare the bushes with the wheels off the ground. See if there's any difference. Bar the arms to check amount of movement. See if the noise happens with the wheels off the ground, at standstill or driving. Try lubricating all the rubber bushes to see I anything changes. Creaks are usually from bushes, broken springs, or top mounts
