leeroy73
Also I've noticed that just 2 litres have come out. Surely that can't be right?? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
ZEUS
It is if it's been burning it or leaking, did you happen to check the level on the dipstick before you dropped it out? Not had any lights come on the dash before?
OllyB
I'm sure a full change with filter is just under 5 litres. Was it low?

leeroy73
The car doesn't loose oil or smoke and I've never had a dash oil light on.. I actually didn't check the oil prior to doing the change. But car was at operating temp before I drained it but only 1 3/4 litres came out! Have put just under 5 litres in and will check level later once cooled but what I have noticed is the oil pressure gauge doesn't read like it did. Before it you to sit just around 4 and then go up when I put my foot down but now its between 0 And 4 at idle and creeps above 4 when I accelerate. I appreciate all your replies hands covered in much atm so hard to reply straight away Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
ZEUS
That was scarily low on oil then! Just keep an eye on the level regularly so you can gauge consumption if any.
88 Zed
Sounds like you might have an issue there mate, I've done a bit of reading on here about a common fault with a gasket on the timing chain cover, might be worth you having a read í ½í±
KUGT4
feasible i burn 1 litre every 500 miles regularly monitor the oil weekly no issues at 90k miles so far
OllyB
I think the timing chain gasket problem is limited to hr's and does not result in oil loss just low oil pressure...
