jdm2003
Hi all, Very proud to be the new owner of a Z33 JDM Import 2003. I got her on ebay, unseen in person, no paperwork bar the logbook and stereo manual . The logbook says its a turbo diesel. but its the 3.5 V6 N/A M/T VQ35DE. Has aftermarket exhausted and just fitted an air charger performance filter. currently got Hype Terminal to the ECU. Its the only way i have found to talk to the ecu. P.S very new to the Nissan and performance scene but love it. If any one would like to know how i connected to my JDM Import BCM. with a £6 cable ill be happy to tell you, have seen some post where people cant connect. Just curious mate, papers V5 state it's a turbo diesel ?! Does it actually read that and is it properly registered as a Nissan Fairlady Z33, or does the log book just say Nissan as the make and model ??? Reason for asking I own a Nissan Pathfinder 3.3 v6 RA50 imported from Oz, but when it was imported it was only registered as a Nissan, no model etc and I had a nite mare trying to insure it as it's not registered properly on the DVLA / insurance data base. Welcome to the forum.
GMballistic
Welcome aboard. Hope your Zeds insured properly (as a V6 petrol) as wouldn't want you to have any problems claiming should the worst happen.
