Seat Height Adjustment

My 2003 roadster has the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in. I can't understand why Nissan decided that instead of having height adjustment like you can get in any car, they could do without it?

Do later cars have height adjustment and seats I can fit into my car? Or are there aftermarket options out there? I like the idea of keeping my heated seats but it's not absolutely necessary.

Thanks in advance!

A related question - I think the problem with my seats is the upholstery padding rather than the adjustment capability. Can anyone recommend an upholstery specialist to update the support in the seats? My car is only 6 years old. I can adjust the height of the seat via the 'seat lifters' but there is a definite lack of support for my back.

Thanks.

IIRC the newer models had two adjustments rather than one, this allowed the front half of the base to go up independently from the rear half of the base. I started with mine fully ramped up and slowly bringing the back half down to make use of the lumbar support. Might be worth keeping a eye out for a breaking 350z on ebay etc and then re-purposing their seats and selling yours on.

Edit: i know this is LHD but mine is RHD and has the two adjustments wheels.

Early cars (only 03 I think) didn't have the height adjuster but the later cars did, apparently you can swap out just the bases of the seats but I've never tried it. I used spacers and longer bolts to get the height I wanted.
