shaun350z
04.06.2016 New seats and clicking axle fix! Some more progress on the Z today getting ready for wrap, fitted the seats, looks so much better in black! Before After Also adressed my clicking rear axle that started last week only took 1-2 hours Heres the original rusted/corroded splines on the driveshafts Cleaned the splines and the hub with a wire brush and brake cleaner Applied loctite on the splines of the driveshaft and the the hub then reinstall For anyone thinking of doing a DIY or why I used loctite instead of grease Edited June 4, 2016 by shaun350z

shaun350z
15.08.2016 Vinyl Wrap/Tints and G35 rear spats Haven't updated this for a long time! Mostly because nothing has really happened... I purchased some G35 rear spats/guards from torqen, after removing the ribs from the inside (http://www.350z-uk.c...s/#entry1381851) I did a test fit and they look awesome! But the car has finally gone to have a full colour change wrap inc. door shuts, tints and stone chips repaired on the bonnet/lower grill area! Car should hopefully be done this week! The work is being done by Khazcustoms (Brentwood) as they are close to where I work so I can pop down during lunch and check on the progress! As for the colour, I have always loved the PPW Z's but they dont appear for sale very often! So the colour I chose was Avery Dennison Gloss Pearlescent White! This was a quick test to see how the wrap covers some of the larger stone chips, and from certain angles they stuck out like a sore thumb, so I decided to have them fixed before the wrap was applied! I cant wait to see the final result! However new wheels (and tyres) are now top of the list to properly compliment the car as the OEM wheels are not going to cut it! And I may also need lowering depending on the arch gap! Edited August 22, 2016 by shaun350z

shaun350z
18/10/2016 New Wheels After getting the wrap, the wheels stuck out like a sore thumb so an order from Driftworks and these arrive As you can probably tell they are obviously Work wheels... After emailing Chris from Tarmac back and fourth about offsets for the Rota Torques and the JR11 having problems of not clearing some peoples brembos... I decided to put a bit more cash towards a set of WORK Emotion CR Kiwami in Matt Black. Sizes are Fronts: 18x9.5 ET20 and Rears: 18x10.5 ET15. Will get some better pictures when they are on the car. Although I didn't buy the wheels from Tarmac I have to give a big thank you to Chris for all the help regarding wheel options and offsets!

shaun350z
25/11/2016 Rear G35 spats + Refurbed calipers w/ Stoptech SS braided lines + New wheels/tyres fitted So Ive had the spats for 3 months now, the wrappers couldnt wrap them with no paint (when I had the car wrapped), so had to wait for them to get painted by a friend, then had to wait to get them wrapped, but they are now all fitted Please ignore the dirty car, it was clean before I took it to my Dads workshop! Next was to (visually) refurb the calipers and then reinstall with Stoptech braided lines First thing was to remove the calipers + hoses from the car ready to be cleaned/keyed with various things ranging from brake cleaner + detailing brush, wire wool, various grades of sandpaper and finally a once over with scotch pad to key the surface ready for paint. Then important/vulnerable parts were masked such as the pistons/rubber boots, caliper mating faces, bleed nipples etc. and hung in front of a heater to warm the calipers ready for paint The calipers were then painted with a mixture concocted by my painter friend from high temp white with various automotive whites/off whites to give a slightly closer finish to the pearl wrap than the standard white would be, then finished with high temp black vinyl brembo stickers and a coat of lacquer. For those wondering what sizes the brembo decals are- Front: 80mm and Rear: 40mm The calipers were then reinstalled with stop tech brake lines thanks to Chris @ Tarmac Next was my favourite part to fit my new wheels/tyres to the car Decided to go for Falken 542 after seeing alot of positive reviews, sizes are Front: 255/40/18 Rear: 275/40/18 I was looking at 35 profiles but again after countless wheel/tyre threads and tyre calculations I decided to go for the 40's. Front Look how dirty she is Rear Looks like i may need to get some negative camber/camber arms for the rear Tomorrow she will be getting a full detail/wax ready to be tucked up for the winter! I will get some better pictures of the car/wheels tomorrow! Edited November 25, 2016 by shaun350z

Why not opt for 19' David When I was finishing the purchase I actually had the 18's and 19's in the basket... It was a tough choice but there seemed there was a lot more info about the 18's regarding tyres sizes and offsets... shaun350z
25/11/2016 Tarmac Sportz Side steps + Samco Hoses + Coolant change Soo side steps arrived a couple of weeks ago, just haven't had any time to fit them so decided to set a weekend (Saturday) to fit them and start my engine bay dress up with a set of samco hoses! Dad and brother were also there doing a few bits, and I had to take a picture of all 3 Nissans/Datsun in the workshop
