martinmac
Sounds about right. Rarely get out of third around here. Do get 30+ on long runs though. On the other side of the coin, the last trip back from London I averaged 38mph.
AndySpak
Do you all have your aircon on? I've had company cars, with fuel cards, for the last few years so my aircon button was always pressed in. Now I've got my own and I'm paying for petrol myself I don;t use it unless the car needs demisting in a hurry or if its really hot. The latter hasn;t happened much since I picked it up in October but I expect my average of 25.8mpg to drop considerably come April/May/June... Zummertor
He's not the Mesiah, he's a very naughty boy. Reset to see fuel for today's return journey, 91 miles, a bit of Motorway, Dual carriageway and then some country roads/rivers. Oh and trying to spot the number plate on the Zed coming onto M3. All in all average 27.4 mpg on that trip and not trying to be over economical. I did notice that at after 4 miles average was 19.2 mpg. Nigelp
On a motorway run, I get high 28 > 32, locally I get 19, I tend to reset the MPG reading every tank and this one, after 170miles is showing 19.6. It has been very wet and I havent driven it hard, but thats a lot of short journeys. I dont care what I get, if I did, I certainly wouldnt have bought a Z
