Just me or anyone else spotted this ?

You need the older bonnet for this.

Whilst driving along in light traffic, dark and rain the other morning I noticed what I thought were shadows going up and down the groves in the bonnet. When I slowed down a bit they went down the grove and when I sped up they came up the grove. It seemed to be in the 45-50 mph speed bracket.

and yes, of course I tried a couple of things;

1) trying to get the biggest puddle/shadow before it was too heavy to keep there and;

2) trying to let the puddle slide out of view and then get it back into view.

This may be just me :wacko: but has anyone else noticed this ?

:headhurt::lol: You shouldbe looking at the road!! :scare:

However, the diagnosis is easy. You simply haven't waxed the car properly. Had you done this, at 45-50mph you would have no static water on the bonnet whatsoever..... :p

You are right, re road and like us all I don't just stare at one place, road or otherwise ;)

However, waxed it properly ? hmmmm, will have to try again with different waxes and speeds. :D
