Scottish_Zed
I'm looking for an independent garage in the Glasgow or West of Scotland area to do a service and MOT on my 2011 370Z GT Edition. Would consider Central Scotland as well. Have taken my cars to local garage in the past, but wanted to treat my Zed with a bit more TLC. Any advice is appreciated. Cheers. martybhoy
Hey bud Most Glasgow zed owners I know use infinit at braehead. I know I always do as their service is second to none. So I can't recommend anyone but them.
Scottish_Zed
Cheers Marty. Was looking to avoid the high prices and apprentices working on my car for top dollar, which has been my experience of other dealers in the past. Not fussed about a dealer stamp either, as long as someone that knows what they're doing is looking at it I'll be happy.

LRF4N
A few of us use automek in East Kilbride including the art demo 370z
martybhoy
Yeah I get what you mean. From what I know there is only two master technicians that carry out any work on cars. They're who has handled my car on all upgrade work and they always talk thorough every step so you know how everything is with the car etc. They have a reduced rate for forum members aswell just mention it. Automek in ek are supposedly good aswell. I'll be using them over the next fortnight to under seal my car. I'll try and remember let you know how they are. The G Man
Cheers Marty. Not fussed about a dealer stamp either, as long as someone that knows what they're doing is looking at it I'll be happy. They give a preferential rate for club members and don't have any apprentices. You'll pay £50 an hour + VAT, an independent will charge not far off if not the same. The senior mechanic is a former head Mercedes tech, and his partner in crime is a Nissan trained master tech. Take it to an independent by all means, ask them for a brand new courtesy car for @ £15, let us know if you get that and from whom please . If it's TLC for your car that you want, look no further

What sort of money are they charging for the under seal? I might use them to 're do' Fords slapdash effort at Zeebruge on my 'Stang, and fit my new exhaust at the same time

The G Man
Sorry for the shameless plug but we're in as well ;-) it's not just tuning we do but also all servicing, repairs and modifications Hi Chris, what's your rates? I'll be looking for a bespoke geometry set up in a couple of months, do you do this?
Chris@Dyna.Tune
Rates are £30+vat per hour for garage time, this will be going up to £35+vat in April. Dyno time is £55+vat per hour and again in April this will be going up to £60+vat in April. Geometry is not something I do at all, I use either Kenny Brown or Automek as they specialise in that area
