Love my Dremel and have had it for over a decade now. The model I have is discontinued now but this is a pretty similar new age model version with a decent selection of bits included: http://www.screwfix.com/p/dremel-4000-4-65-175w-rotary-multi-tool-240v/85047

Definitely go for a mains wired version though whatever model you get as I don't personally rate the rechargeable battery versions. ;)

Dremel also make gas soldering irons: http://www.screwfix.com/p/dremel-f0132300ja-versatip-gas-torch/1596d

Yup I can shout for the 4000 as well. Don't buy a cheap imitation Dremel, buy a Dremel no matter what.

I've done so much work with my Dremel its untrue, cutting of plastics, aluminium, sanding, drilling, even got the attachment to turn it into a Router with all the bits to go with it. Truly brilliant!

i have one of these and i think its the absolute dogs. it gets hot really quick and it gets a really good temperature aswell. thoroughly recommended.

Also it has a little exhaust hole on the side of the tip which is perfect for heat shrink ;)

What make and where did you get it?

My mains powered one is useless!
