Barks Posted February 20, 2016 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Hi all, Finally got a zed. :-) Exhaust flexi was broke through and all of it very rusty so instead of buying a oem replacement I wanted full stainless steel. I have bought and fitted decats silenced. Y section that runs twin as far as possible. And a scorpion straight through and back box. I wanted full stainless and a nice tone. I got loud rasp. The sound I would expect at 4k is being produced at 2k. Having to drive slower more gently and change up sooner around town. So I want to make it quieter under 4k keep the tone and keep the decats. I just wondered if I swapped the straight pipe before the scorpion back box for the standard silencer pipe it might do it. Shame though. Anyone else's had same results and sorted it.
