H5
I think the headlights are pretty good, especially the Xenons. Are you sure they are working on both sides?
rickya
Is your JDM, is so they can be badly aligned by importer for SVA. I had this problem, beam was sol low you could not see very far. At last service by Nissan got them to do it (free of carge) inc in service & was told that they were both set tool low.

jonathan73
I have a similar problem in that I can't see more than 3 white lines in front of me at night. Kinda really. Bulbs / headlights are sooooooo damn expensive though I've taken to driving behind a man and horse with a gas lamp

Sarnie
I think its pretty well known that the headlights are crappy. I remember a merc pulling alongside me once on a motorway. His lights were lighting the road ahead light football floodights, mine looked like a candle in comparison

You want to drive at night at speed, you need to be able to see without straining - otherwise you're concentrating on the wrong things IMO
Toon Chris
After coming from an alfa 156 which struggles to even project a beam forwards, the Z is bloomin marvellous!
Liam's Z
Met many people before who said this James. I'd have to agree with you, headlights are very poor.
Trev-the-Rev
I don't have any complaints with mine, but they did uprate them for the 06my iirc.
Zummertor
Met many people before who said this James. I'd have to agree with you, headlights are very poor. Having driven older A6, Yaris, Lexus and Honda Accord in last 2 weeks I find the Zed's worse. Kind of I agree but it seems from reading around that unless you pay for whole new units there isn't a way to improve them, or maybe my searches aren't finding the right threads. marzman
Adjustment eh? I've been meaning to post for ages about the quality of headlights... i've actually switched mine on and off to check if they're still working - i couldn't tell if they were on! And the worst part is when driving in the dark, i cant go over 40mph on the country lanes cos i cant see... i have a queue of cars behind me... and when someone is behind me their headlights light up everything to the side/infront, and my car casts a big shadow where my headlights should be!!!! Im sure they cant possibly be so bad... can we check adjustment ourselves or is it a job for a mechanic?
H5
It may sound daft, but turning down the brightness of the dash lights at night can help your night vision, your eyes become more accustomed to the dark.......
