Luke350
Questions in the title really. Looks like I'm getting the true dual invidia Gemini exhaust with HFCs, then mapping. Should they see better gains than a normal exhaust with 2 tail pipes? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Luke350
I know better air flow helps MORE for FI than n/a but anything that helps air flow on n/a can still give more gains surely? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
RobPhoboS
Underneath the 380RS (NA of course) - so this I imagine is better going by their testing, or perhaps just saves weight. Edited February 15, 2016 by RobPhoboS
Luke350
Yes and that looks like a BIG diameter! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mrt
Found no significant difference after fitting invidia dual and cobra HFCs,s Upreved at Tdi north and dyno read 333 b.h.p.. Only noticable difference is that the engine revs higher now.
Tricky-Ricky
Perhaps if the duals where smaller dia, and attached to properly designed headers that aided extraction, but in order for an exhaust to work and actually help make power you have to be able to get more air into the engine, which is pretty hard won on an N/A,

Luke350
I'm doing invidia dual and Berks hfc's so good to see roughly what to expect. What air filters? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Jetpilot
Single or dual it all comes down to tubing diameter and not to be caught out as I once was when I had a custom exhaust made, 2 x 2.5" will not flow the same as much as a single 5" for example, you need pye r squared forumla
fake ben taylor
Sasha Anis back to back tested a true dual vs a single and the dual murdered the power figure. Problem is that na relies on the scavenging effect of each pulse (creates a vacuum behind it when the velocity is correct) as that helps pull the exhaust gasses out of the next cylinder duals need a REALLY good x pipe to keep this happening, and without it you lose a lot of power over a good single. H pipes are no good as they just dont transfer that vavuum well enough between the banks (v8 boys in america have found this as well, h pipe is lower power than x pipe)
Luke350
Could end up with a 3" full miltek system instead then maybe? Plus quality wise they are supposed to be really good. And I don't want a loud exhaust. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
evilscorp
Get the one you like the sound of. 2-5hp is nothing.
Adrian@TORQEN
Stick to Invidia + Berk, a nice setup. If you haven't bought these yet, both in stock Quality on Invidia it's extremely good, the sound it's very nice also, probably the most popular combo at the moment for the 350z.
