Barkerm87
Hi all, I have just bought this car and I have all four wheels that need tracking and the drivers side front bush is gone (so metal touching metal). Im new to Nissans and performance cars. Any idea if I can replace the part myself (if so, how much and where from?) and I was quoted £80 to have all four wheels tracked. I just spent 6.5k on this car so money is very tight. Thanks!
Z370Z
£80 sounds about right, I've recently had my wheels done and paid around the same price
RobPhoboS
There are lots of traders here that can supply everything you could need, so have a look - definitely use the search. But we ideally need to know specifically what part is knackered. If it's a bushing, I'd recommend getting a pair of up-rated parts (SuperPro) if its the banana arm (compression arm) bushing as this will give much nicer steering without ruining anything. Technically, yes if you have the tools at home you can do this but I'm guessing you don't. http://www.350z-uk.c...ing#entry704841 Have a look, see if you can get a photo or two from underneath the car: http://www.350z-uk.c...-banana-bushes/ Also, since you just bought the car - ensure you fill her up with 97Ron (Vpower etc) Edited February 13, 2016 by RobPhoboS

Where did he get those upgreaded parts and what are they callled? I dont have the tools so will have to get it done at a garage. Thanks for your help! RobPhoboS
No problem, as I mentioned I would get the SuperPro bushing rather than what he did simply because he was building a more track oriented car. Just look through the traders, we have plenty that will supply you with what you require. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/93-professional-traders/ Try and get a photo with your phone just to double check.
SHEZZA
Get yourself over to see Mitz@Cougarstore at Leicester. He's a well know trader on here and can supply and fit the super pro bushes, that's where I had mine fitted a couple of years ago. http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_66 Or if a complete arm is needed or you just want Oem bushes. http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_9 Edited February 13, 2016 by SHEZZA

I'll check him out for fitting though! Thank you all for your help...going to be a long learning curve with this car and expensive but I love it. Much appreciated! RobPhoboS
The most important thing is searching, what new people seem to forget when on forums is that their question or problem is unlikely to be new. So it's usually been asked plenty of times already. The forum search is pretty good but this is FAR better: Go to google, copy and past this: site:350z-uk.com banana arm bush And just change the 'banana arm bush' text to whatever you are searching for, you'll see that it's better.
