modo
Changing the pads on my Zed today Brembo noticed no anti squeal shims fitted. Is this normal? New pads EBC never had them in the box. If I need them where do I get them. ? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

RobPhoboS
When I did use to use EBC they had a rubber backing on them already iirc.
Wizza2000
Had same issue mine squealed like a pig so thought it was pads ordered Hawks as was told less dust hence noise which they are brilliant and quiet But when removed originals they had no anti squeal shims so who knows could have been reason why horrible noise usually in slow moving traffic The Hawks have rubber backing so no need for them Like GreenLandy mentioned if no squeal then no worries mine ran perfect for six months into owning car and who knows how long before that with previous owner 😡 See how it goes without for now, and can always buy them later from Clarks
modo
Checked the EBC brake pads data sheet. Says that the shims are not required, so I'm going to give it a go without. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
