Kraziekatz1
Had the car up on my mechanic friends ramp while I replaced the brake pads and bled the brakes this morning......don't get to look under the car too often but just noticed this...... The cars nearly 12 years, but should I be worried? How much roughly to replace?
SHEZZA
These are getting common now to be in need of replacement I'm wouldn't be worried about it not sure how much a genuine OEM w brace is. I know you can get an after market one for about £130 http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/371418001776 Edited January 30, 2016 by SHEZZA
GMballistic
The cars nearly 12 years, but should I be worried? How much roughly to replace? No and not mega money. Best option imo is as SHEZZA has linked. I'am surprised though Kraziekatz that you didn't already know about this as it pops up fairly regularly on here. More info here on your options in my post n#4: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/101885-rusty-underneath-help/
Kraziekatz1
Cheers, that's a big help ....will get it replaced ASAP. Bit annoyed as it went in for a major service just before Christmas and everything apart from that was mentioned. Lucky I was able to spot it today. GMballistic......C'mon I'm a girl, only read the gossip pages on here lol

One of my customers went for the OEM W brace and end brackets and the other went for the after market W brace with the end brackets. New OEM W braces in stock. New OEM W brace end brackets in stock. Preowned OEM W braces in stock. Preowned OEM W brace end brackets in stock. New after market W braces in stock. Just drop me a PM if I can help further.
Kraziekatz1
Would the Ultra Racing rear brace be a good replacement then, or better to stick with OEM? Also, if I did go down the UR version is it easy to fit, or will I need new fixings? Anyone replaced one themselves?
ZMANALEX
Michelle, OEM gives you better "cover" protection. Both offer similar chassis stiffening. Both are easy to fit providing you do not snap any of the fixing bolts or nuts, The end brackets only require replacement if they are badly corroded. PM received and replied to. Alex.
