Jay Kay
I've never been a fan of the way the rear of the Zed is a little higher than the front. I would like to drop the back end, only by about 10mm or so to level it out. Is this possible? I don't want to go lower really on the front due to speed humps, just level. I remember back in the day stories of cutting down springs - which I can't see being a good idea but I did also hear of trimming down the rear bump stop seats which can help. Any ideas on a good safe way of doing this without affecting handling? Thanks
ZMANALEX
Not a practice that I follow, however I have sold a lot of the rubber rear bump stop seats for that very same purpose. Drop me a PM if you require a pair. Alex.
ZEUS
For the same reasons as you I cut down the rear bump stops and have had no problems with it at all. It's popular in the US.
