brillomaster
I quite like fifth gear... but think for some reason i'm in the minority! and the last series of top gear was very hit and miss, I just hope new top gear has more hits than misses. guess we'll find out come May. Ekona
Agree. What I'd like is a cross between the CH interview with Chris Goodwin from McLaren with the technical stuff, and early TG where they crashed the cars into the brick walls and JC's car didn't have a working speedo. Jetpilot
I have to admit the previous series to the last one had seemed to be scrapping the bottom of the barrel for ideas and perhaps even decent cars, but the last series before the upset occured was pretty good, the usual shennanigans but actually with a bit more adventure and focus on the cars/challenges than just scripted idiocy and some awesome cars in good settings. End of an era and two options to hopefully satisfy both camps, can only be a good thing whichever you prefer or watch
docwra
Theres a lot of directions they can go with this whereas before it was pretty fixed, I think thats why people started getting bored. Youve got 3 genuine racing drivers, 2 genuine motor journos, a motorsport team manager, 2 global famouses and a fairly hot bird, the first series will write itself.
