Rock_Steady
I was under the impression that 9 years was the limit to your NCB. So, that's not the case then?
Ekona
Depends on insurer. Some say 5, some say 9, Sky for example say 12 (as per my renewal documents last week). Once you get past 5 though it really doesn't matter, you won't get any more discount.
-G-
My renewal this month was quoted as £314 - a quick go compare session & phone call to incumbent had that reduced to £240. Happens every year. Just a case of going through the motions.
zebedy
yes 9 years max. I explained that I had 9 years 2 years ago plus this year just gone with no claims. Whether or not they took that into consideration? Agreed valuation through the broker whom was in talks with the insurer. Will also send proof of mods valuations, receipts and work done and the like. Ekona
Nope, because you obviously kept the old letter from your previous insurer stating you had the 12 years
Jonnymonno
It seems like it becomes a free for all when it comes to modifications to a car and depending what mood the underwriters are in that day as i was with esure for 8 years but they wouldn't even quote me with mods
Jonnymonno
ok all sorted. Renewal from Aegeas waa £538 with the misus on too. Prestige - £589 with me only WTF?! GranTurismoEra
Really does pay to live outside London within the sticks.......Mine would be £900 and £1300 with a possible Body Kit, 30 years of age, 6 years no claims. 8 years a license.........the other guys want to put a box in the car, similar to wearing nappies.......
