TreeFidyZ
Alright everyone ! So I have just recently bought my 350z in December. Can officially say I have got the Nissan bug already, Spent 2k in mods before I even had the keys in my hand😂 Got big plans for this car and I have my first drift event with it in March. Here's is a few things I have bought to date and am still waiting for some parts to arrive. Here is what the car looked like when I bought it First things I bought were a Brand new set of staggered Rota GTR-D's. Front are 18x9,5J et12 and the rears are 18x10J et12. All wrapped in Bridgestone RE002's. Front size are 235/45/18 and rears are 245/45/18 giving just a nice bit of stretch. They fit quite nicely proud of the arch with the low offset. I also ordered at the same time a full Handling pack from Driftworks including: -Front and rear Camber arms -Rear traction rods -Set of HSD Monopros Unfortunately they still haven't arrived. I am fitting pair of harnesses and harness bar also. The harness bar is made by ultra racing and my harness are having to come from the USA as I'm a pedantic **** and wanted these specific ones 😂 The harness bar will be getting colour matched with the harnesses also. Just before Christmas I bought and fitted a Cobra non-resonated exhaust which sounds really nice. . Currently also waiting for my GRIP ROYAL steering wheel set up from the states that I bought through there UK dealership. Couldn't recommend them anymore ! As you can probably tell I am going with a purple scheme and the car and wheels will also be having a respray sometime soon in black with a metallic purple flake and the wheels in purple. Can't wait to get this car how I want it and I hope you enjoy the build thread. I will try keep it updated as frequently as possible. TreeFidyZ
Thanks man ! It's called Plumcrazy on chrome if you are looking at buying one.
ZeppoJeff
Yeah I've looked at it in the past but think it may be to much purple on my car if I did. Thinking about going for a sporty yet executive interior if that makes sense
davey_83
hit the ground running haha for me on any car IF you go aftermarket wheels, you need to go with at least an inch bigger that what is commonly seen ie the 18' RAYS.
TreeFidyZ
Yeah after I fitted them I have to say I did regret not getting 19s how ever for getting tyres from garages for drifting it's a lot easier to get 18s as there more common. Should look a lot better when the Coilovers are on Edited January 7, 2016 by TreeFidyZ
Rich260
As you say mate, once them coilovers are on I reckon the 18" GTR-D's will look awesome. Love the bronze colour to, good choice! Edited January 7, 2016 by Rich260
TreeFidyZ
Cheers rich ! How do you find this group ? I have only just joined a few days ago. Everyone usually nice and polite and helpful ?
Rich260
They're a very knowledgeable bunch and it's good to see two side to the modding on here, those that go for the performance/ drivability and those that "stance" the hell out of the Z and do some cool stuff for the show side. Being based on the Isle of Man it would be rude for you not to go for performance! I've only had my Z a few months and the site has been already been invaluable in helping me make decisions on what to do and what not to do with it. Keep up the good work! TreeFidyZ
Ah that's good to know then. Nothing worse than a bunch of judgemental tyre kickers in a forum. 😂 I suppose living on the Isle of Man does have its upsides with the no speed limit. It will be being modified so I can use it as my daily and for when there's a drift event on I can have a play too. Just need my parts to hurry up and arrive !

Mj86
Erm, I don't know if anyone noticed this, but what up with your gearbox? Why is it in reverse or 6th gear?
TreeFidyZ
In reverse I think, The gearbox is fine 😂
TreeFidyZ
Only a little thing done today but every little helps. Finally changed my reg over to a cherished number. Couldn't get a 350z one unfortunately but 350N (Nissan) is close enough. Eventually the reg plate will be getting moved when the car is sprayed but looks good for now !
