zed4life
Hi ladies and gents Was checking my oil at the weekend and a gust of wind took my bonnet off the stand and at a force towards the windscreen, the hinges were forced into the bodywork cracking and denting the paintwork.any suggestions on where to take her or estimate cost?will I need the whole quarter panel doing? Will370z
Ouch, feel for you. I get my bodywork done at Tim fleet but I'm guessing that is a little far for you. Hopefully others will come along with more local recommendations

Stutopia
Gutted for you mate, that sucks. You might find someone will do a local repair and a blend but they're both right up against other panels, so it may not be a perfect match. Good luck. Ricey
Tell you now that's a lot of work. If the wing isn't too badly distorted: - knock out bending - skim with filler and reshape - base colour in affected area - clearcoat whole panel That's a cheap job. Proper job add in: - blend colour to bonnet - A pillar (depending how fussy you are) - possibly door but prob get away with that. - clearcoat any blended panel. Problem with zed paint is it can be a bugger to match and blend which is why you may end up blending to the bonnet Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
terry06
Sorry to hear that, I almost had a similar thing happen a while back but luckily managed to catch it in time. I've never had to use a body shop but I've heard Palmeira Bodyworks are quite good in Portslade and also The Motor Works in Shoreham. But as I say I have never had work done by them so not speaking from personal experience, just what others have said. Hope you get it sorted. I'll be interested to know where you end up going for future reference.
-Bradders-
Would it not be easier to just get 2 second hand wings and fit them?
Payco
I'm not far from you but I would only ever take my z to Taras and the team at RT Performance (pro trader on here). It's worth the trip.
mouthwash
I'm near you and I took my ITR to TGM in Fleet to have my front bumper/light/wing repaired and they done a really good job. If you've got a mate/family member that can run up there with you and take you back it's not too much hassle and worth the extra fuel imo. glrnet
Agree with MW, had my Zed into TGM a few times now, excellent every time. Speak to Tom and Will and mention the forum👠Sent from my Zed using Nangkang tyres front, RE040's rear
veilside z
Painting edge to edge on silver is not good. Ideally the wings want blending into the doors then re laquer the doors with the repaired wings. Won't be a cheap fix unfortunately buddy
