stevie_350z
Got the old girl out of the garage to find I had a flat at the rear. A quick check all round showed: [mrow][mcol]Stevie's Tyres @ 10am[mcol]Passenger[mcol]Driver [row][mcol]Front[col]22.5[col]29.5 [row][mcol]Back[col]0[col]29.5 I've pumped 'em all back up and will monitor the tyre pressures again tonight. Anyone seen a tyre completely deflate after no use for two weeks - seems pretty unlikely to me. Neighbour just walked passed and said "have you seen those self-tapping screws littered across the car park" I only replaced all four tyres a couple of months ago The tyres are now set to [mrow][mcol]Stevie's Tyres @ 2pm[mcol]Passenger[mcol]Driver [row][mcol]Front[col]35[col]35 [row][mcol]Back[col]35[col]
GIXXERUK
can you see anything in the tread steve ? if not check the valve, spit on your finger, smear it across the valve to see if air is leaking
H5
Was it only flat at the bottom Stevie?
stevie_350z
Was it only flat at the bottom Stevie? barstard! Trev-the-Rev
Was it only flat at the bottom Stevie? barstard! [mrow][mcol]Stevie's Tyres @ 4pm[mcol]Passenger[mcol]Driver [row][mcol]Front[col]35[col]35 [row][mcol]Back[col]34[col]35 Looks as if you've got a slow punture bud. Try the valve test that Gixxer suggested and failing that you will need to examine the tread for nails, screws, etc.
stevie_350z
Just been to tescos and back and then did the tyres again - the back one has gone up a bit (warmed tyres, although I was taking it easy?) [mrow][mcol]Stevie's Tyres @ 4pm[mcol]Passenger[mcol]Driver [row][mcol]Front[col]35[col]35 [row][mcol]Back[col]35[col]35 Let's see what tomorrow brings
Zummertor
Had this on the Audi 2 months ago, found a nail right on edge of sidewall/tread after some hunting around. Only time before that was a much cheaper fix as the valve had failed, a new one for me. May be only answer is to keep it hot
MartinGT
i'd take the wheel off and give it a good check, i wouldnt fancy a blowout at 70mph due to a nail.
