Easty
So iv got a custom made True Duel exhaust on the car but want it a little louder, and she's going into for a UpRev soon, Wondering if I should go for De-Cats of just High Flow/Sports Cats? What's the advantages and disadvantages? Iv heard you can get a really bad smell in the car when you take the Cats out.... Also would it bring any warning lights up etc? Bodyboarder81
Both will generally bring warning lights up ( no problem if you're getting it mapped though ) Decats = more power , more noise , won't pass mot, smell a bit Hfc = less power than decats , less noise than decats ( bar art pipes ) , pass mot, don't smell Edited December 3, 2015 by Bodyboarder81
PPod
decats on my custom made the exhaust very loud which I loved and more power on the dyno also you can taste the fuel when flooring it in 2nd gear haha but mine would never pass an mot in a million years.
