RIP Martin. A true pillar of the 350z UK community. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He couldn't make it to the recent Scotland trip that a few of us undertook, but he still spent the best part of an hour on the phone to me helping me to get a decent B&B sorted for several of us for the return-leg stop over in the Lakes. An absolute star who will be very much missed by all.

To mention all the times Martin has helped (just me) would fill up this thread. To recollect all the times he has helped many hundreds of members on this forum would probably need a new forum of it's own. Legend.

Such terrible terrible news. Saw it on Facebook this morning and only managed to get on the forum now. For all the old timers that know me, you know I'm not an emotional person (Amanda fequently questions if I have any) and I well up every time I read something about this such sad news on Facebook or the forum. Amanda was shocked to hear the news too.

I think I'm not stretching any truth in any way saying he was a legend in his own lifetime.

RIP bud :byebye:

Both myself and Lucy are stunned and saddened by this news. Our thoughts are with Liz and Marts family.

Like so many old timers on here,we have known Martin and Liz for a number of years.

Martin was a cornerstone of the club, he really was one of the most helpful and friendliest people I can honestly say I have met in my life. No matter what he would go off and make things happen, usually from his ships wifi all hours day and night ! (I have the emails to prove it!)

He will be very sadly missed and even now he will be up in heaven complaining he cant get a internet connection,to arrange the next Lakes meet and making a deal with God so just for once it wouldn't rain on the day!

I can still see him , fag end hanging over the drivers door with ash dropping on my windscreen as we drove behind them with the roof down!

RIP Mart

Damn it, such a sad day today. As a local I often popped down to see him in Cark and was gutted to learn of his passing today.

Like many owners, many of my fondest memories from the club involve Mart to some extent, numerous Wales meets, Jockland hoons, Lakez, local meets, just-calling-round meets, and many others. A pillar of our little petrolhead community.

Goodbye Martin, may you always Rev In Peace. ;)
