Has
Front right of the car clunks and knocks a bit when I go over uneven or bumpy roads, can sometimes feel it through the brake pedal. Last owner said its been happening for about 3-4 months. From a bit of research I'm pretty sure it's the lower arm bushes. Does anyone have experience of this and know if I have to change out the whole arm for a new one or can I just change the bushes? Any advice appreciated
Sargara
Yeah that sounds like the banana arms to me, mine was the same. You can only change the bushes on 1 side of the arm, the other side cannot be replaced its fixed in. So you'd need to remove yours from the car really and have a look but id recommend just swapping them, its probably a false economy repairing yours. ZMANALEX
As has been said, the bushings can be replaced, however the ball joint is part of the compression rod. Bushings and compression rods are in stock and good to go same/next day. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
