nowhereboy
So my mams just been bought a brand new boxster as a gift from her other half. I'd be lying if I said I'm not a bit jealous. She literally doesn't have a clue about what she's driving, she's currently unaware if it's the 3.4 or the 2.7. Say's it feels heavy to drive and that she isn't keen on it Talk about not appreciating what you've got eh! Anyway I'm keen to get behind the wheel of it, I'm on the insurance so I'm going to pop over at some point this weekend and take some pictures then go out for a spin. Be interesting to see how it feels compared to the Z. Anyone got any experience with these cars?
Ekona
A little bit Best sensible money sports car you can buy. Same as the 987 was, and the 986... The Zed isn't even in the same ballpark. It's like comparing the Zed to a Fiesta ST.
nowhereboy
Alright, I admit it, I'm a lot jealous! It doesn't help that she's not interested in car's and isn't even remotely exited about it

Stutopia
If she's not that into her cars, she might not even notice if you just swap it with your Z

nowhereboy
haha! Not sure her partner would appreciate a modified 350Z on the drive, it's not his style. He did own a 370Z for a short while but he wasn't keen apparently Lovely bloke but considering how much money he has his taste in cars is disappointing, was quite surprised by the Porsche purchase today. Should get to test it tomorrow, I suspect it's the only time it will get driven properly for the foreseeable future.

Ekona
I'll take a stab at the 2.7 with no PASM? Looks quite tall, and I think they're the Cayman S standard wheels.
Stutopia
They new shaped ones are so much better looking then the early ones. Very nice motor!
nowhereboy
I'm picking it up later to to take it for a spin so I'll find out more. I'll have to get some pictures of it with the Z. It's the 2.7 and those are cayman wheels. I'll have to let her know because no doubt they don't realize and havent told the insurance company. Ekona
They may not care, but she will need to disclose EVERY option to them. Except the paint, as guards is a standard colour.
Bodyboarder81
Love the new ( been out a while ) shape boxster/ caymen! A friend of mine takes delivery of his gt4 caymen soon , very very jealous! The only car that I would really like at the moment but don't have a chance in hell of ever owning one
nowhereboy
Called off driving it today because the weather is awful here in Newcastle. I must admit it's got me fancying a little something for myself now. I'd love a new boxster or cayman but could never afford one. A 370z however..... Bodyboarder81
We all know the porkers are better cars ( not always more reliable though ) but we chose the zeds for the value for money , great looks , road presence , rarity and lots of other reasons . It's also a cheap enough car to play / mod with and this ,for me anyway , is half the fun of having my little Nissan , I love it !! Can't see me getting rid for quite a few years
