Doris
I have a virgin super hub great 'wired 'speeds but the wireless signal not so good. Thinking of switching it to modem mode and going for a separate router any recommendations? ........
Flex
I've just bought a TPlink N600 dual band, seems good. cant say I've noticed any real performance enhancement.
Stutopia
If you're an apple user, AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule should be considered. For Windows networks I added one of these as an extender a while back, seemed to behave ok. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001HW0JVU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

Juggalo
Big fan of Mikrotik routers. But they're not for the non techie types really. As they say...the problem with Mikrotiks is they have so many options. The best thing about Mikrotiks is they have so many options. Mikrotik-RB951G is what I use, hooked up to a Sky hub. The SSID speed and strength on the Mtik is far superior to the SKY SSID
