Easty
So got standard Bose system in the Z at the moment, only had the car a few weeks. The passenger door speaker keeps cutting out normally after a bump in the road, if I tap/hit the passenger side knee pad it comes back on Any ideas? Quinster
Speaker connection at the back of unit maybe. Never had this problem but it sounds like a loose connection somewhere and that would be the first place i looked.
HAMLNJ
Any problem with the sub?
jimmy.farrow7
I believe the passenger side speaker is a common fault with the Bose system and a lot of the systems had this problem. A solution is to change the speakers for after market ones
Jay Kay
do a search for this problem on the forum. I've read all about it a while back so its covered somewhere - probably the FAQ section. Its not the easy fix it could be if I remember rightly? Often its more to do with the headunit - unless yours really is as simple as a lose connection on the back of the speaker. veilside z
Yes my lad had the passenger front problem when he got the car. He just lived with it until he had his new head unit and speaker install. Have you an old speaker you can wire up, then if still persists then go to the back of the head unit.
