Lurch
So I'm trying to remove and replace my exhaust from the cat back but the nuts that join the cats to the y pipe have corroded a lot an seized up to a point where I can't get them off. I have tried soaking them with wd40 and a breaker bar but nothing is budging. I have one question before I start the angle grinder up an sorry if it's been asked before. Are they a normal bolt or are they something else Again sorry if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find it anywhere :/
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
I've got plenty of nuts bolts and gaskets in stock if you need some but they are just a normal bolt, M8x40 I think
SteveM
the connection between the CAT and the y pipe is by button type studs that are fixed to the CATS.... grind them off then drill them out and replace with nuts and bolts
Lurch
I've got plenty of nuts bolts and gaskets in stock if you need some but they are just a normal bolt, M8x40 I think I've already got all the bits for replacing I should need as far as I know yet but thanks I'll keep it in mind. I'm just wondering what is holding the standard y-pipe to the standard cats Thanks
