martybhoy
Well has anyone done it? After a search I don't seem to find any results. I understand the key will still have to be present in the ignition barrel but thinking of doing this as a bit of light hearted fun. If you have got one, did anyone manage to find one with an orange illuminated factory style glow?

zebedy
Any idea where you would put it? ashtray cover perhaps? Would like to do this too but would not know which wires to tap into?
Payco
No, but if interested I can post some up. You do need to still engage the key, however Bob and Chris come up with a way around it and on Bobs the key is redundant. Normal place is to the right of the gear gaitor on the gear stick platform. martybhoy
I think definitely in that area somewhere close to the ashtray.

Stutopia
Given the key transponder needs to be near the barrel is the key not in mandatory? Just fit the button, no need to wire in, then just turn the key with your right hand when you push the button with your left
