davetstan
Anyone used or got one of these? I am thinking of SORN ing the 370 over the winter in the garage which unfortunately has no electricity and no windows. I read trickle chargers are a worthwhile purchase if leaving the car unused for a few months. This will be my only option I know of if I can mount it on the garage roof and run the cable through into the garage. Anyone got any other suggestions as I have never left a car unused before so any suggestions welcomed. Many tks in advance. 😄 Dave Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ZEUS
I've used one on my van when I put it into storage for 3 months and it started straight up when I went back to it. Normally the battery is dead after about three weeks.

Stutopia
Wouldn't it be easier to pop the battery out and use a battery conditioner somewhere in the house/with power?
ioneabee
just remember you CAN'T plug it into the cigarette socket - it has to go straight to the battery terminal
davetstan
Possibly Stu, but i was going to run it round the block every couple of weeks when dry to keep it ticking over. If i remove the battery. Tks ioneabee, yes I realised that. Do you guys ever take yours off the road for winter? It's something I have never done before, any tips gratefully received. Kev T
Yes, mine never sees the winter, but i am lucky as my garage has light and sockets so i just stick a charger on every month or so.
davetstan
What about the tyres ? Do they need a run/move so not to get a flat spot or anything? Or am I being to paranoid here for what will be essentially 4 months? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
