brillomaster
I'd love an S15 Spec R. awesome looking cars but so so rare over here, and the prices are going through the roof for what they are - a 350z is newer, faster and a nicer place to be, and is half the price of an S15.

nowhereboy
Looks like I'll be keeping the Z for a long time at this rate!
coldel
You could have gotten an S15 Type R for £10k a few years back, I nearly bought one but opted for a VX220 instead - now as above quite pricey.
Ekona
I still reckon you made the right call there, VX over S15 anyday, even if just to say you've done it.
brillomaster
problem is finding an unmolested S15 - there are two on autotrader currently, but both are heavily modified - admittedly the blue one looks quite nice, but even so, would prefer a standard one. also, when are lotuses going to start dropping in price!?! even the series 1 elises are still silly money for what amounts to be a bit of aluminium and not a lot else. shame really as i'd like to try one! hopefully S2000s will continue to drop, think that's what my missus needs as her next car, definitely... JetSet
Old British sports cars are on the rise too. Some like the TR5, TR6, MGB V8, Stag have always fetched good money but even the horrid TR7 and the bulky and slow MGB are appreciating these days. Ekona
S1 Elises were £9K a few years back, I think that was the bottom end of those. S1 Exiges never really got below £18K, and are more than that now. S2 111R is where my money would go, more than good enough with a solid engine but things like working AC. coldel
Yes the S1 Elise's are on the rise you missed the boat in terms of getting them at bottom prices. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Absolutely I still crave a VX or Elise for the summer months! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
