Commander
Looks like mine is on the fritz so time for a new one. What type of central heating controllers are you all using? Ideally I'm after something that allows a 7 day program, independent control over the central heating and hot water systems, with some kind of '1hr boost' available for both. Not massively fussed about it being 'smart', wifi enabled, etc... as that seems to command a huge price increase for little benefit. If it matters, the system is based on a traditional gas boiler and hot water tank with a wired thermostat. I will be installing myself. Any suggestions? Ekona
Honeywell FTW. Pick whatever one suits your needs, the 907 should be a good choice though. That said, I had a Drayton one in my last house as an emergency install as my one broke and the merchant's were closed and that's all B&Q had, but in fairness it was actually not a bad bit of kit. ZMANALEX
I use the Channnel Plus XL by Horstmann. It is now over 10 years old but has proved to be a great piece of kit. I have my central heating, underfloor heating and boiler all on different programs.

KyleR
Personally if I was going to fit a new controller I wouldn't be looking past this - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nest-T200377-Learning-Thermostat/dp/B00GD8NRYE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1445336641&sr=8-4&keywords=hive+active+heating
