Lyndzzz
Not a "does my bum look big in this" question but trying to decide what rear bumper to go for!! I think I've narrowed it down to the almost OEm Chargespeed or the Ings? Here's a pic of the Zed as she currently sits. about to fit an Invidia exhaust so want to show that off a little but just cannot decide which way to go? Opinion welcome, thanks guys
Jetpilot
Ings, apart from being nice, not everyone is running one either. Original one on ebay for sale at the moment too which is a bonus rather than fitting replica rubbish
Lyndzzz
That is the way I'm leaning but I must admit I do like the chargespeed!
LRF4N
As nice as the chargespeed is, agree with jet pilot it's been overdone recently
valy
Chargespeed in my opinion is not like you see 350zeds at every corner
Scott TMN
^agreed, especially running chargespeed rears. It looks much nicer and really beefs it up imo.
Jetpilot
Chargespeed in my opinion is not like you see 350zeds at every corner But if you go to show, they are two a penny, dont get me wrong, i had one on my old car and loved it, most definitely the best looking rear The Ings does look awesome too
ZeppoJeff
Id say chargespeed...looks so much nicer than the ings I just can't stand the step that the ings has on it as it really just doesn't flow with the lines of the car. I'm biased obviously though as I've got one and the invidia looks awesome with it.
Lyndzzz
this thread is exactly how my mind is working at the moment. Ings, Chargespeed, too many Chargespeed, Ings .....
valy
at the end of the days you have to chose between 2 nice kits so you cannot really go wrong
Lyndzzz
Yeah that's why it's so hard!!! It's this car that keeps me coming back to the Ings http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/94344-that-green-z-pic-heavy/
glrnet
Take the diffuser off your bumper, fit the invidia and tuck your bumper, that'll show it off nicely (and save you some money too) maybe add some spats too.
Lyndzzz
I thought about doing that, I've just sold the spats that I was going to fit, hence the diffuser still being on. The bumper is in rough shape though. It looks like it's had a bash or two in the past (not by me ) and it's the last bit of the car I want to "mess" with. buster
get some more spats...
andy james
Before my excursion into the wilderness I fitted the same Strosek spoiler as you have. Maybe this pic gives you an idea of what your new back end would look like with the chargespeed.
Lyndzzz
Thanks guys Andy, the reason I bought the Strosek was I saw thetranquilbass' car at LakeZ a couple of years ago and fell in love with the combo. The OH much prefers the Chargespeed too! Buster, your car is looking good, but I think a new bumper is in order for me, the current one is letting the rest of the car down

Chris Wiltshire
Does anyone know if the chargespeed can be fitted with the black insert modded/cut to show off the exhaust? Sure i've seen it done one here before??
Wasso
Exactly that..... Here's mine!
SHEZZA
Which ever way you go Lyndzzz I'd say you'd need to remove the diffuser/modify the charge speed and ings to show off the invidia. Here's my standard bumper with spats. Edited October 23, 2015 by SHEZZA
Jetpilot
I think the diffuser is one of the nicest aspects of the Chargespeed to be honest, cut it off and you might as well just tuck a std bumper imho.
Chris Wiltshire
Would a decent local bodyshop be able to fit a charge speed rear bumper or would it require someone that knows the bumper etc? M1 6RYF
I'm planning on getting a Top Secret style diffuser and Nismo style spats. I'll try and get a picture, i'm sure someone on here has had that combo It was on Buster's Ginger Ninja build thread i saw it. That is what has made me want it. http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350Z_GLOSS_BLACK_FRP_TS_STYLE_REAR_DIFFUSER__NO_SIDES_/350FRPTSRD_.aspx Edited October 23, 2015 by M1 6RYF
Jetpilot
Would a decent local bodyshop be able to fit a charge speed rear bumper or would it require someone that knows the bumper etc? Replica, no, Chargespeed yes imho. Rt performance allow 2 days to fit theirs, should give you some idea about the amount of work involved. Chris Wiltshire
Ah right a lot of tweaking with the reps then. I asked RT about a v2 front and got quoted 5 days.. being based in Cardiff its a bit awkward ahh
