nrenz123
To anyone that has done the 2015 Nismo front end swap, do you know if you can re use the standard plate holder or do you need to order one specific to the nismo bumper?
KyleR
I wouldn't be using on, just stick the plate to the bumper.

Dal B
I picked up my nismo front bumper the other day and the parts guy was under the impression I could use my old plate holder, not sure if this is correct or not but I'm trying to sort out some ways to stick it on using maybe magnets or something
ZeppoJeff
Just spoke to oldbonesmcgee who has the 2015 nismo front end and he needed a new plate holder when he changed bumpers. He got his front America also so he could get the smaller plate holder.
nrenz123
I can confirm the UK plate holder doesn't fit, I've stuck mine on with numberplate tape. Edited October 30, 2015 by nrenz123
veilside z
Holders look clumsy buddy use double sided tape.
Shenley
Also, in the handbook it states that the front plate holder may need to be removed so as to attach the towing eye. Nismo's all seem to have the front plate screwed on to facilitate this. Is this standard practice for a 370?
nrenz123
Shenley, as far as i'm away the towing eye hold is behind a cover below the plate to the left. I don't think the plate holder needs to be removed. I'll check tonight.
Shenley
I have just looked at a photo of my car during PDI. The holder doesn't have much room for tape due to the design, so that's why they are screwed on?

Is there any more room in the front of this than the stock bumper
nrenz123
I'd say less mate. I'll look when it's light though. The area of the grill is actually quite deep plastic, could possibly trim it?
Kharmon
I just removed my plate holder and stuck mine on without
nrenz123
Just a little update on this, I have the Nismo front and sides on, the rear has just been ordered. Once done i'll add some pics or make a thread in build projects

-G-
I like the look of the 2015 Nismo front end but also love the shape of the mk.1 The red fins are very reminisce of the 458 - very aggressive look :-)
